Comfort and adjustments for everyday use
Wheelchair V200D is designed to provide a stable and comfortable position while moving. The available seat widths, between 390 mm and 500 mm, allow you to choose a suitable option depending on the user's size.
The seat and backrest provide support for daily use, and the footrests help to position the lower limbs correctly. For better comfort, the user's position should be adjusted so that the back is as close to the backrest as possible and the feet are well placed on the supports.
The V200D model allows for significant user customization, and compatible accessories can help increase safety and comfort. Depending on your needs, the chair can be used with a lap belt or anti-tip device, if available in the chosen configuration.
Folding, transport and storage
An important reason for choosing a wheelchair V200D is easier to transport. The foldable frame reduces the width of the product to approximately 320 mm, which helps with storage in narrow spaces or transport in the trunk.
The total weight is approximately 16.5 kg, with the heaviest piece weighing approximately 9 kg. These values make the model practical for users who need a sturdy manual wheelchair, but light enough for a caregiver to handle.
For transport, the chair must be folded correctly and the moving parts must be checked before use. It is not recommended to lift the chair by the footrests or other parts that are not intended for gripping.
Safety and controlled handling
Safety is essential when choosing a wheelchair V200D. The model is equipped with parking brakes, rear wheels for propulsion and front wheels for steering. The brakes must be applied before transferring, before lifting or sitting down and whenever the chair must remain stationary.
The chair should be used on surfaces where all 4 wheels have good contact with the ground. On ramps, thresholds, curbs or uneven surfaces, the user should move carefully and the help of a companion may be required.
The maximum recommended obstacle is approximately 60 mm and the minimum turning radius is approximately 1500 mm. For maximum safety, the product should be used according to the manufacturer's instructions and checked periodically.
