Vicair Pommel O2 10 cm is a high-performance anti-bedsore cushion designed for wheelchair users who need superior postural positioning, pelvic stability and advanced pressure ulcer protection. This premium cushion Vicar O2 combines SmartCells™ technology with a removable front support, offering a level of comfort and functionality that is hard to match with conventional pillows.

The pillow is ideal for people with adduction conditions of the lower limbs (close thighs), spasticity, reduced trunk control or who need a positioning that prevents sliding forward while sitting. Its intelligent design offers a unique combination of pressure redistribution, microclimate control and frontal stability.

At the heart of the Pommel O2 design is innovative technology SmartCells™, composed of small, homogeneous, air-filled cells that move independently to follow the contours of the body. This ensures optimal pressure distribution at the ischial bones, sacrum and medial thigh area, in a much more efficient way than traditional foam or air cushions.

One of the strengths of the Pommel O2 model is removable front medial support ("pommel"), which gently separates the thighs, reducing pressure points that can cause discomfort or the risk of bedsores. The support has its own zippered cover so it can be easily removed, facilitating forward transfers or catheter use without having to remove the entire cushion from the chair.

The pillow is complete. machine washable (up to 60 °C), without having to remove the SmartCells™ cells, thanks to the open structure of the material (Open Structure). This helps maintaining an optimal microclimate, with temperature and humidity control, protecting the skin and preventing irritation.

The Vicair Pommel O2 is made without latex, making it suitable for people with allergies or sensitive skin, and is light enough not to add significant weight to the wheelchair.

The model comes with two types of covers optional for adaptation to specific needs:

• Comfair Cover – achieves excellent air transmission and dissipates heat, providing improved comfort;

• Incotec Cover – fluid resistant, ideal for use in medical institutions or at home where hygiene is a priority.

The pillow is available in a wide range of standard sizes (from 35 × 35 cm to 60 × 60 cm), and for unusual sizes or unique postural specifications, there are options special or custom on request – perfectly adapted to the individual needs of each user.
